The Cemetery End - 25 Years of Lost Grounds & Stands 1995-2020

To mark the magazine’s 100th edition in March 2020, a brand new Groundtastic book was published. Called The Cemetery End, the book is a pictorial collection of grounds and stands that have disappeared from the British footballing landscape in the last quarter of a century. Running to 228 all-colour pages, and in A4 landscape format, the book is organised in a year-by-year format with more than 350 grounds and stands featured, ranging from Wembley Stadium to Axminster Town’s Sector Lane ground. Each ground and stand is accompanied by a short description highlighting the history of the structure, and how and when it met its end. Eighteen months in the making, The Cemetery End is the only place where the lost grounds stands of the last 25 years (1995-2020) can be viewed in one place; it is a seminal work.

All copies of the book sold out in record time but in November 2022 our printers found a lost batch of the original print run in their stores.  These were subsequently made available for sale, but have since all SOLD OUT.
